It all started with a starter...literally.
Feeling unsatisfied with the taste and quality of the bread available in my area I started researching a lot about real bread and realized how more and more people are going back to the roots of bread-making, moving away from commercialized, cheap and unhealthy bread. My search led me to buy a starter that has been kept alive for more than a 100 years by the King Arthur Flour company.
What started as an attempt to make a single loaf of bread quickly became a new passion that I now want to share with others kneading my own personality and heritage into the mix. I hope my blog and YouTube channel inspire you to start your own journey and that my Facebook and Instagram pages create a community for us to grow as home bakers. Once you start you will feel it rising...as I love to call it, a knead to bake.
